FEAR Scream Park - Show Captain

About the role:
We’re looking for experienced actors with a previous background in management and team leading. A role that is both challenging and rewarding, you will be responsible for the cast and the operation of an assigned attraction, reporting directly into the FEAR Show Experience Manager. Alongside your duties, you will be required to perform within your attraction or show team.
Requirements:
We’re looking for strong, confident individuals with previous experience in performance, team leading, and customer service. You must bring high levels of energy to the role and be up for a challenge. You will ideally have a background in physical theatre and/or a qualification in Drama or Performing Arts, along with experience (or a willingness to work) in extremely physically and mentally demanding environments.
You will need to be flexible and adaptable in your approach to the role and possess a positive, forward-thinking attitude. You must be able to lead the cast and be their first point of contact on live nights, providing full support in and out of the attraction. You must also have good time management and organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Support the FEAR Show Performance Team in the implementation of cast training.
- Prepare rotas for the duration of the run.
- Be the point of contact for performers within your team, answering any questions or queries they may have (this will include hours outside of live show nights).
- Attend daily show briefings with the Creative Director and FEAR Show Performance Team.
- Be flexible and adaptable to change, as and when the event requires this.
- Ensure that cast members are signing in and out of each shift, and all FEAR documentation is kept up to date.
- Ensure that the cast are in the correct costume and makeup, and that high standards are maintained throughout the run.
- Lead a 15-minute cast warm-up prior to opening.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with training and instructions given, and maintain health and safety standards for all guests and staff.
- Once the attraction has closed, ensure that it is left clean and tidy; all rubbish must be cleared and the attraction swept through.
- Ensure that all costumes and props are returned, signed in, and properly stored, and any lost property is logged.
- Ensure that any costumes that require repair or cleaning are left in the designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and tidy Green Room.
- Debrief the cast at the end of each operational night.
- Complete a full show report at the end of each shift.
Important:
You must have a minimum of two years' acting experience, proven team management experience, and at least one years' experience as a Scare Actor at FEAR Scream Park.
Dates:
This role will require you to work evenings, weekends, and late nights on following dates. You must be able to attend all live nights:
- Rehearsals: TBC (select dates in September & October)
- Live Nights: October 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 29th, 30th, 31st, and November 1st

Rate of Pay:
- Rehearsals: £65 per rehearsal
- Live nights: £100 per night
