It’s back, and bigger than ever before… The award winning FEAR Scream Park returns this October in an epic twelve nights of frights!

About the role:

We're looking for MUA's with backgrounds in body painting, face painting, and horror SFX, who can bring our most gruesome characters to life! A role that is both challenging and rewarding, you will be responsible for getting the FEAR cast of approximately 120 performers into make-up each night, whilst maintaining high standards throughout the run. 

About you:

We’re looking for strong, confident individuals with previous experience in fast-paced theatrical or face painting environments, who can consistently deliver high-quality work. You must:

• Be comfortable working quickly and efficiently within a small core team
• Bring high levels of enthusiasm, energy, and professionalism to every shift
• Have a background in face painting, body painting, airbrushing, or stage make-up, and/or hold a relevant qualification
• Be flexible, adaptable, and approach the role with a positive, forward-thinking attitude

Responsibilities:

• Set up the make-up room each afternoon before the performers arrive
• Apply make-up looks as detailed within the FEAR look-book
• Perform attraction walkthroughs on a nightly basis, ensuring that high standards are maintained
• Perform touch-ups as required
• Ensure that the make-up room is manned by at least one MUA at all times

Important:

Due to the nature of this role, applicants must be 18 or over and have full availability for the whole duration of the contract.

Dates:

This role will require you to work on the following dates. Full availability on live nights is essential:

• Pre-production: TBC (select dates in September & October)
• Live Nights: October 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 29th, 30th, 31st, and November 1st

Rate of Pay:

• Live nights: £100 - £150 per night (dependent on experience)
