About the role:

As part of our Christmas Show Cast, you’ll take on a festive character in a fun, family-friendly scripted performance that runs multiple times a day throughout our Christmas event. Whether you're playing a cheeky elf, a helpful narrator, or another magical role, you’ll be delivering lines on stage, possibly singing, and most importantly - helping bring the Christmas story to life for children and their families.

You’ll be required to attend rehearsals ahead of the event, learn a script, and work closely with fellow cast members and the event team to ensure each show runs smoothly. While the focus is performance, we also expect our cast to support with light operational or backstage tasks such as prop resets, helping with guest flow, or assisting younger audience members when needed.

Costumes and makeup will be provided, and you’ll be expected to stay in character during public-facing moments. This is a high-energy role perfect for performers who love to engage audiences, especially young ones, and want to be part of something truly magical this Christmas. 

About you:

We're after performers who can bring energy, warmth, and festive magic to life on stage. You’ll need to be confident delivering scripted lines, engaging young audiences, and working as part of a supportive cast. While your main role is performance-based, we also value reliability, professionalism, and a team-first attitude behind the scenes. We're looking for:

• Strong, confident performers with experience in scripted theatre or family entertainment
• Friendly individuals who are comfortable engaging with children and keeping them entertained
• Performers who can, or are open to singing (or festive vocal work!) as part of the show
• Team players who are punctual, reliable, and happy to support with basic operational or backstage duties when needed
• Experience in live performance, working with children, and event environments 

Dates:

This role will require you to work weekdays and weekends on the following dates. You must have full availability.

• Rehearsals: November TBC  
• Live Dates: November 29th & 30th, December 5th - 7th, 12th - 14th, 19th - 24th, 28th - 31st

Rate of Pay:

• Rehearsals: £45 per rehearsal (TBC)
  
• Live dates: £110 - £125 per day (TBC)
